SEPULTURA Guitarist Bitten By 'Evil Mosquito'

June 12, 2007

SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser has issued the following update:

"Last week, I got infected with the virus of Dengue, an infamous virus that attacks the muscles and brings you down. A lot of pain! Terrible. Getting better now, but it's a shame that Brazil still is unable to resolve and destroy this mosquito so evil for all of us.

"We had a gig last Saturday and I played, still with the virus on my body. The show was great, besides my health. THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

"Getting ready to destroy Europe once more! See you all soon!"

A good-quality video clip of SEPULTURA performing the song "Convicted in Life" live in Luxembourg during the band's last European tour has been posted at YouTube.

As previously reported, a rare video clip of SEPULTURA and the Brazilian kings of hardcore RATOS DE PORÃO performing a cover of RAMONES' "I'm Not Jesus" on the Brazilian TV show "TVMix" in 1990 has been posted online at this location.

SEPULTURA will embark on another European tour beginning late June.
